Returns & Refunds Policy

At Orbit Solutions, we are committed to supplying high-quality safety and emergency response equipment, including cutters and first aid kits.

This policy explains your rights when purchasing products through our website and how returns and refunds are handled in accordance with Irish and EU consumer protection law.

1. Your 14-Day Right to Cancel

If you purchase products from us online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

The 14-day period begins the day after you (or someone nominated by you) receive the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing (email is sufficient) within the 14-day period.

Once you notify us, you must return the goods within 14 days.

Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

2. Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must:

Be unused

Be in their original packaging

Be in a resaleable condition

You are responsible for the goods while they are in your possession. If goods are returned damaged or handled beyond what is necessary to examine their nature and function, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value.

3. Important – Medical & Safety Products

Due to health, hygiene, and safety requirements:

  • First aid kits that have been opened, unsealed, or had contents removed cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

  • Sealed medical or hygiene items that are opened after delivery may not be eligible for return under EU consumer protection rules.

  • Cutters or safety devices that show signs of use, wear, deployment, or damage cannot be returned unless confirmed faulty.

These measures are necessary to maintain safety standards and protect all customers.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Under Irish and EU law, products must:

  • Be of acceptable quality

  • Be fit for purpose

  • Match their description

If your item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and details of the issue.

If a fault is confirmed, we will offer an appropriate remedy which may include:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Refund

  • Price reduction

Where goods are confirmed faulty, reasonable return shipping costs will be reimbursed.

Your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods are not limited to 14 days and remain fully protected.

5. Refunds

If you cancel your order within the cooling-off period and return the goods in appropriate condition:

  • We will refund the cost of the goods.

  • We will refund standard delivery charges (where applicable).

  • We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or receive proof of return.

Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return) and will be made using the original payment method.

We are not required to refund:

  • Express or upgraded delivery costs

  • Return postage costs (unless goods are faulty)

6. Delivery Issues

If your goods do not arrive within the agreed timeframe (or within 30 days where no timeframe was specified), you may be entitled to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Please notify us promptly if you experience any delivery concerns.
